About Mr. Arias

How I came to Northridge Academy High School

I grew up in the west end of the San Fernando Valley. After high school I worked with an after school enrichment program called LA's BEST. I worked in various roles for nine years. I started as a program worker, then became a site coordinator, and finally ended as an Activities Consultant and then began my teaching career.

I completed my bachelor's of science in Biology at CSU Los Angeles in the Summer of 2003. I later recieved my teaching credential through CSU Northridge's ACT credential program. I started at Northridge Academy High school in the Fall of 2005. I followed by completing my my Master is Science Ed at CSU Northridge in the Spring of 2008. I would go on to receive National Board Certification in November 2009.
